The first picture is the original finish. Next is the chemical striping. Then the sanding to natural wood.
This work was done at Shadow Wood Country Club.
Four of the doors and Transits had to be stripped down to natural wood in order to get a uniform color match due to door # 3 was new construction.
First we started with a chemical striper to remove the finish. Second we use a agent to pull off the stain. Then we sanded every quarter inch to bring it down to raw wood.
Then we applied the stain and 5 coats of satin oil base varnish. Sanding between coats to give a perfect finish.
The reverse side was sanded, primed and painted.
