As you can see the kitchen walls were painted with a poor attempt of sponge painting. Plus this god awful boarder paper was applied onto the wall with some type of super glue. Through the years I found the best way to remove wall paper is to first buff sand the paper with 80 grit paper. They sell a scoring device, but that just makes the walls full of little punch holes and the spackling is doubled. Then you spray the de-glue and wait 5 minutes and it comes off in one sheet.

After prepping the walls I made myself a nice mustard/gold.As you see in the photos the color switches from a green gold to a light mustard depending on the lighting
