When cleaning the roof there is only one thing to be aware of that is SAFTY. This roof was moderately simple because it had a fairly low pitch. Yet you must be aware at all times that you are standing on the cleaned surface.
When using any cleaning chemicals you will want to use only Biodegradable ones, otherwise due to over spray you might kill the landscaping.
After cleaning you may wish to apply a fungicide. This will inhibit the growth of fungus and mold.
Also about every 6 to 8 years cement tiles should recoated to ensure the durably of the roof. This is a 3 day project. One to clean, second to apply a sealer/primer and the third to coat the roof.
